Early Years Learning Framework
Australian early childhood educators are mandated to be addressing the guiding principles and practices as well as learning outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework [EYLF] (DEEWR, 2009). This guiding document identifies practices and principles to be addressed through teaching and learning in the early childhood sectors (0-8 years). It also provides 5 Learning Outcomes that early childhood educators are mindful of when planning learning experiences for children.
